It seems that the year 2020 will generally pass at home due to coronavirus pandemics. In this case, of course, reading books, sports, etc. are among the things to do for spending time at home. Besides, watching movies or playing games on the TV is also at the forefront. For this reason, it's a great time to browse the best TVs on the market right now. If you want to buy a new TV, we have prepared a nice review for you.

We have tested more than 70 TVs in the past two years, and below are the picks for the best televisions in 2020. Also check out our  selections for the  best 4k TVs   and the  best smart TVs .

LG B9 OLED

Type: OLED Subtype: WRGB Resolution: 4K Size: 55 "

LG B9 OLED is an outstanding TV with excellent picture quality. It has wide viewing angles, good SDR peak brightness and can be preferred with reflections. This TV has a wide color gamut and good HDR brightness, but aggressive ABL can be annoying. Thanks to its almost instant response time, the motion looks clear and the TV has a motion interpolation feature that can help minimize skips in movies. Gamers will enjoy a responsive gaming experience thanks to the very low input lag, FreeSync supports variable refresh rate and also works with the latest NVIDIA graphics cards.

However, there are likely to develop persistent burning, unfortunately, like all OLED TV. This is a big problem.

The LG B9 is the best TV we've ever tested. This amazing OLED TV offers great picture quality regardless of your room. When viewing in a dark room, the infinite contrast ratio ensures perfect blacks and bright rooms are no problem as they have excellent reflectance. Very good peak brightness. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and almost instant response time, so fast-moving scenes look smooth and almost flawless. It also has an optional black frame insert feature that helps reduce motion blur and can interpolate to low frame rate content to make the motion look smoother.

Before purchasing an OLED TV, you should know the risks of permanent burning. This error causes the channel logo or image to remain steadily on the screen when a TV stays on the channel for a long time or when it stays at the same point in an area such as the user interface in video games . So let's say you watched NTV for a long time, even if you switch channels, the NTV logo will remain on your TV blurry.

However, we do not expect most people watching various content to have a burn-in problem. If these risks do not bother you , you should go to this TV.

SAMSUNG Q80 / Q80R QLED

Type: LED Subtype: VA Resolution: 4K Size: 55 "

If you want to buy a good LED TV, check out the Samsung Q80 / Q80R QLED. While the LG B9 cannot produce superb blacks like OLED, the VA panel has an impressive contrast ratio and has been made even better with full array local dimming. With this TV, images can become extremely bright and offer an incredible HDR experience with pop highlights. Viewing angles are considerably better than most TVs with a VA panel as Samsung has 'Ultra Viewing Angle' technology; however, some angles may negatively affect the contrast ratio of the TV. For game users, you will feel very responsive thanks to the low input latency and FreeSync also supports variable refresh rate. You can also use this TV as a monitor because chroma can display 4: 4: 4 properly and above all,

If you say that I take risks about burning risks, you can continue with LG in general. Otherwise, Samsung is a great alternative that satisfies most people.

ALTERNATIVE FOR THE DARK ROOM: VIZIO P SERIES QUANTUM X 2019

Type: LED Subtype: VA Resolution: 4K Size: 65 "

If you want to watch TV in a dark room but don't want to deal with the risk of permanent burning, check out the Vizio P Series Quantum X 2019. The LG B9 allows you to achieve the same black levels as the OLED. It also has full array local dimming with impressive performance, and exceptional motion processing delivers a clear image with minimal blur. If you choose to use this TV, HDR content and in a bright room, you may have to fight glare, so it can be extremely bright. Unfortunately, for those who want to play games on TV, it has low input lag, does not support any variable refresh rate technology, and the viewing angles of the VA panel are poor.

SONY X950G

Type: LED Subtype: VA Resolution: 4K Size: 55 "

If you care about color quality, Sony X950G is one of the best TVs we have tested. However, this is not the only thing this TV has to offer. The VA panel has an outstanding contrast ratio and an impressive black homogeneity that is absolutely sure for those who want to watch in the dark. If you're in a well-lit room, this TV picture can be incredibly bright and cause high reflections. Unfortunately, like most VA panels, viewing angles are disappointing, making this TV less suitable for large rooms with large seating arrangements. However, larger variants of this TV have Sony's X-Wide Angle, which greatly increases viewing angles.

The response time on this TV is very good, you will see little blur behind fast moving objects; Moreover, it has the option of adding an optional black frame to help further reduce motion scene blur. While the entry latency on this TV isn't enough for games, ordinary gamers can be very satisfying with their performance. Unfortunately, it doesn't support variable scene refresh rate and doesn't have 'Auto Low Latency' mode. Finally, this TV is user friendly. It allows you to find almost everything you need in the Android app store.

In general, this is best for color accuracy and has features that will please most people.

BETTER ALTERNATIVE FOR THE GAME: SAMSUNG Q70 / Q70R QLED

Type: LED Subtype: VA Resolution: 4K Size: 55 "

If you think that the disappointing advanced gaming features on the Sony X950G are missing, you might consider the Samsung Q70 / Q70R QLED. It also uses a great VA panel for darkroom games with exceptional contrast ratio and black uniformity to produce deep blacks that don't appear gray. With a variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing, you get an extraordinarily low response time and input lag for a smooth and responsive gaming experience with the 'Auto Low Latency' mode, which is automatically activated when the TV detects that a game has started. The highest brightness on this TV may not be as high as that of Sony, but watching or playing in a bright room is more than enough to provide an excellent HDR experience.

If color saturation is more important to you in the game, continue with Sony; otherwise, Samsung is a better choice for gaming.

TV FOR THE BEST BUDGET: HISENSE H9F

Type: LED Subtype: VA Resolution: 4K Size: 65 "

The best budget we've tested so far is TV Hisense H9F. This TV can deliver excellent picture quality regardless of the content you're watching, and is also well equipped for performance in dark and bright rooms. While full array local dimming is enabled, it has an outstanding contrast ratio that can produce deep blacks when viewed in the dark. Its disadvantage, however, is that it blooms around shiny objects that can be distracting. The excellent peak brightness is enough to surpass the glow in a well-lit room, and also helps deliver an excellent HDR experience with pop highlights.

Unfortunately, like most VA panels, this TV has poor viewing angles and is not ideal for large seating arrangements. It has an extraordinary response time, which provides a clear image with little blur. It also has the option of adding an optional black frame to further clean the image. The input latency is very low and satisfies most players, but there is no support for any variable refresh rate technology, and the TV can only accept 60Hz signal even if the panel itself is 120Hz.

Since this TV works on Android, there are a lot of apps available on the Google Play Store and you can also control the TV with your voice through Google Assistant, but it can't search for specific content in an app like Netflix. In general, if your budget is limited and you want a large TV, you can get it.

HİSENSE H8F

Type: LED Subtype: VA Resolution: 4K Size: 55 "

If Hisense H9F is expensive, you can continue with its younger brother, Hisense H8F. This TV is significantly cheaper, performing well on most content for its money. You still get an outstanding contrast ratio, black uniformity and full array local dimming; However, the peak brightness is lower, but it is good enough for bright rooms and can provide a good HDR experience. The response time is a little slower, resulting in images with slightly more blur trails behind fast moving objects, but the input lag is quite low. This is good for those who want to use it as a game and monitor. Like his older brother, this TV works on Android and has Google Assistant integration.

Overall, the H9F has better performance, but if you want to pay a little bit of money, H8F is a good alternative as long as you make some small compromises.
